nitrous question
I know someone with a 90 4dr lx civic w/ b16a, with slicks runs 14.0, with 80 shot he runs 12.6.
So to answer you, expect 3/4 seconds if you get traction. You will see a big trap speed difference; 7-10 mph

First off the 92mph you listed is good for about a 14.7sec run in a FWD, or if you're really good (ie AWD) a 14.0-3. So you either need to practice launching or shifting.
A rule of thumb for hp is every 10hp will net you about 1mph in the 1/4. So you should run around a 97mph 1/4...which with perfect traction and good solid shifting is worth a 13.7. I ran 4 13.51's in a row at 99mph before...so there's a yardstick for you. I think that 50-60hp shot should put you in the 13's if you know how to drive.

For Dry kits, don't expect to gain as much as you think you're going to gain. Depending upon the kit - I'm assuming you're going with zex 55 65 75 horsepower shots. I think it's 55 shot - .7 off, 65 shot 1.0 off, 75 shot 1.2 seconds off. I ran 75 shot zex on my hatch and dropped 1.2 seconds.

OK RealTypeR...what's heavier, a pound of feathers or a pound of bricks.
If the kit is putting out the advertised 50hp level, it doesn't matter if it's wet or not when it comes to performance...50hp is 50hp. Use your heads.
Now...if the kit ISNT putting out it's advertised HP rating than some care needs to go into seeing why it isn't. Are you running overly rich? Is your ignition up to the task? Is your clutch slipping? Do you have bad compression? Or is it putting out it's advertised power and you simply can't drive it to the fullest of its potential on the first run...remember...you must relearn how you drive a car once you squeeze it.
Oh and one more thing...on a low traction application such as street oriented FWD's it's best to look at MPH not ET for power gain/loss. ET only show's how well you are using that power (ie traction and shifting).
So RealTypeR...what was your MPH before and after?

BAHH...I was just throwin a few out there. My whole point was that 50hp is 50hp no matter what way you slice it Mr President.
"Mr President, did you add 50hp to your car?" Reporter
"What exactly IS the definition of 50hp?" President

its suppose to be even!
50 Horsepower dry shot DOES NOT = 50 horsepower wet shot. I don't know where you are getting your information from, but you are incorrect. We tested it several times. I gained 54 whp and 65 ft/lb torque with a 50 shot WET kit, and with a 65 shot DRY kit, my friend gained 45 whp. They are two completely different kits and Wet and Dry kits work entirely different. Yes, your mph does increase. I'm just stating the facts on what I know and what I gained. I gained 1.2 sec on a 75 shot in my dx hatchback. I never ran my Type R off the bottle, but my trap is 104.79 just in case you care.
are you on drugs boy????
you must not know that much about n20
a 50 shot wet or direct port will give you more power than a 50 shot dry, its all about even distribution
there was a guy on the r forum had the exact same set up and did the same exact hp as me , but he had 50 shot direct port and i had 85 shot dry, granted mine had issues with leaning out right away and we shut it off , but wet and especially direct port are a hell of alot more efficient.
you sound like one of those people who say 300watts is 300 watta, why not get a pyramid amp rather than xtant?
its all about efficientcy bro , you got a lot to learn.

NOS luvs compression, just gotta tune it right. Less room for error.
When in doubt, up 2 jet sizes on the fuel and work back down.
Better foul a set of plugs that toast a couple of pistons.

yea bro everyone tells me im nuts for juicen the hell out of my r because of the compression. . . . f that , if you know what your doin and get it tuned right you will be fine and im gonna prove that when i go 100 shot on mine .
I know my fair share about N2O and I agree that it's about efficiency. Wet is more efficient that dry. I've run both dry and wet on my vehicles. Fuel is everything. We already have a Type R running 100 direct WET and it's hella fast. He's hoping to dyno 260-280 whp. I admit I have a lot to learn, but I feel I know more than you think I do. That's if your opinions were directed at me.
a dry kit will give you flywheel hp and a wet kit will give you wheel hp....is that right RealTypeR? You said you gained 54 whp with a 50 shot wet, and your friend gained 45 whp with a 65 shot dry. If your right well thats pretty impressive, and this is the kinda of numbers i am looking for with a wet kit.
