lookin for a good kit either going to be the plate kit or the zex. anybody have experience with the 2? which is a better system for the gsr? any problems with running either 2? pros cons? anybody experience any puddling w/the wet plate kit? how's distribution on the zex on a 75shot?

do you want power of reliability?

 

both power and reliability duh....but on a stock motor. i've also heard that the solenoids on a wet system must be replaced periodically due to exposure to fuel...anybody kno more about this? does this happen on the wet plate kit for the gsr? i kno madd ppl like zex but i hear dry kits aren't that consistent. how would a 93kmiled gsr handle a 75shot of wet on the plate kit? safe enuff? the car runs perfect. if a 75shot wet is safer than the 55shot dry becuz of distribution than it would be a no brainer.

I like several people on this board, ran the NOS 2040W plate system for hte GSR..

Never had any problems in the entire year I ran nitrous...

I only ran a 75shot to hold me off until I wanted more power and had the money to go turbo...

 

i had a zex kit on my car for almost 1 year and i had no problems. i like the zex kit.

 

to answer your question for the 40th time . if you want power go with the nos plate kit . . . .. if you want ease and a pretty purple set up , then go zex dry

I am an NOS fan actually, many of my friends have sucessfully used them for long amounts of abuse.

 

yea rite...or how bout 4 mini bottles under my passenger side seat.

 

I have aplate system on my gsr motor, no problems, i like it but i'm going turbo so i am selling the system minus bottle and line, already installed on the manifold with the throttle body. I have a str manifold w/ fogger going on in its place.
