ZEX rates there hp by the crank and nos and nx rates them by the wheels

and i am sqeezing a 75 hp and only pulled 1 deg or timming of the stock base timming and 7's for plugs and it runs like a champ with no problem and i have a 255lph intank pump

well if you say you have a nos or a NX with a 75hp shot and someone was like wow let me do that with me zex and they will have to run over a 100 almost a 125 to be the same whp as the other kits

think about it i think zex only goes up to 75 hp i think

Actually Zex themselves sell jettings for up to 125 shot. Read my sig. In fact the V8 kits come with jettings that big. All you really need are a strong bottom end and bigger injectors (like the V8's) and 125 shot dry will be perfectly fine.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by bottlefedb18c1 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">well if you say you have a nos or a NX with a 75hp shot and someone was like wow let me do that with me zex and they will have to run over a 100 almost a 125 to be the same whp as the other kits

Bullcrap, a Zex 75 shot yielded 74whp when tuned with a V-AFC. Untuned yielded 68whp. 100 shot will yield over 90whp and 125 shot should yield around 115-118 whp. So NO a NX 75whp would not be like a 100 or almost 125 shot Zex.

And Zex sells jettings up to a 125 shot, think about it.

That's why 450cc injectors. The nitrous won't even need to rely on raised fuel pressure anymore. How do you think big turbos get their fuel? Mustangs and Camaros run 200-250 shots dry all day. If you ask me you have to worry about more **** with a wet kit, like a fuel solenoid that can fail.

Hondata's new nitrous control is geared towards a dry kit. You can increase fuel through the injectors only when the system is activated, and go back to normal fuel curves off the nitrous.

My friend is running a 300 shot dry (which I hooked up for him). He runs a 3 stage nitrous system. Can you do a 125 shot dry? Yes, as long as you have a enough fuel and bottom end for it.

What's the difference? If a stock V8 can run a 250 shot dry, what makes you think a 4 cylinder can't run a 125 shot dry with a built bottom end and bigger injectors? It's half the amount of cylinders, but it's also half the amount of nitrous. I am tempted to go towards V8 because to many Honda guys have bullshit floating around they've heard, but isn't true. Like Eagle rods break, LS trannies are better for turbo, dry kits can't spray over a 75 shot, all bullshit.

I really like the Hondata Nitrous controls, been great to me, I spray a 90 shot everytime at the track. Tune it into your setup w/ a wideband and it's hard to go wrong.
Really like the Zex kit though, neat feature how it monitors bottle pressure!

the thing is all i seen was bad workmanship with zex

my freind just picked up a used zex kit and i know the previes owner and there wasnt even 2 bottles throw it and the bottle was leaking under the fitting

he called where the kit came from and called zex and they said nope you need a seal just tightning it up will not fix it and we dont seel a seal so you HAVE TO buy a new bottle that is one of the reasons i dont like zex

My D16 made 74whp gains tuned on a ZEX 75 shot. 10x harder is 1whp? Your friend doesn't know how to setup his Zex kit. Mista Bone ran a 13.08 with a ZEX kit on D16, explain that.

somewhat true...the seals do tend to go bad but when mine did I just bought an NX rubber seal and it worked perfectly!
