newb to fi...tuning for obd0?
allright, i know the basics of boost, and im starting to piece together a junkyard setup for my civic. i've heard a few terms thrown around for fuel management and tricking the stock ecu when seeing boost, but they've never been explained.
can someone explain how a missing link works?
someone wanna tell me how to use an safc/vafc to make the stock comp see boost?
how do you setup check valves?
also, are there any other possibilities on obd0 other than zdyne?
thanks

You've been here long enough to know that you can search for each of those. There is a very long AFC thread and many threads on check valves.

Zdyne,
Hondata(PR3/PW0 for VTEC engines),
AEM w/ an OBD-1 to OBD-0 adpater harness.
Ghettodyne.com may be a viable option soon. This is depending on how much longer it takes to get the bugs hammered out of the boost portion of the code. Just so you know this is a free-ware program created by some VERY dedicated Honda enthusaists. It kinda resembles a Zdyne/Hondata crossbreed. Right now it's good for N/A tuning only, but it's coming along nicely. Hop over to pgmfi.crx-forum.org and join the "ECU Liberation Front"(sorry J. Davis)
