dsm people swear by it, but the honda version is lacking the key features which makes it so popular amoung the dsm crowd.

It doesnt show anything too vital on a honda. On DSM's, it shows knock count, so dsm peeps tune their **** until it stops knocking with it.

I have found the OBDII outputs to be useful No, the OBDII pocketlogger isn't as cool as the DSM version, but that is because of OBDII, not pocketlogger.

On the OBDII versions you can log things such as O2 voltage, ignition timing, coolant temperature, intake air temperature and other things. I mean, if you don't think knowing your ignition timing at WOT then maybe you shouldn't be tuning cars. I know with the VAFC hack, some cars can get carried away because they aren't "seeing" the amount of air that is really their and the ecu anvances the ignition. 15-20 degrees on a turbocharged car is a good starting point. You can also view your O2 voltages. While this is not ideal, it gives you a ballpark from which to start. You can then set the AFC so that the O2 voltages remain constant throught the RPM band.

Heres a screenshot of the DSM version to make you guys jellous

danl- looks like you are using a laptop version, but I dont have a laptop, I was going to use a palm pilot deal to do mine, also makes for more compactness. are you just transfering the info onto a comp or are you using a laptop to receive the data??

No, he is using a Palm, not a laptop (there is no laptop version). What he is showing us are screenshots of his logs imported onto his PC. Also, note the "knock" curve. He is using the DSM version.
