New wastegste (21psi) dyno numbers 630+ mustang dyno H22
Prelude dyno
Figured I would post this.. This was a low boost pull ( wastegate 21psi ) and low RPM ( only to 7900 ) , it make power past 9500rpm. Getting bigger injectors and turning it up as the 1680's are getting close to max... Also changing ingnition boxes to a MSD digital 7.
I have an MSD digital 6 for sale BTW.
Here's the pull. Not to bad for low boost and low RPM's on a Mustang dyno. Once I have bigger injectors, I will go up to around 40psi..
H22
CP pistons ( 20 over )
Carillo rods
Pro 1 cams
Head work, etc, etc.
SX400 72mm
The car makes power past 9500rpm, but this was a pull to just above 7900 and the power was still climbing.
Car weighs 2350 without me with more weight coming out of it.

4th post and you are already talking ****. How about you pick up a book, learn yourself some grammar then give it another shot.
OP good numbers. 630whp at 21psi is sweet. You should post up another video after the new ignition and injectors.

Thanks
lol...
Will do, got to save money with Christmas, the dyno is mine, but Christmas and family have priority.
Like I said this was also a low RPM's only to 7900rpm when it makes power past 9500rpm... and wastegate. Like I said the duty cycle was at like 85 if I remember correct.
Q16, I use to mix Q16 and import, but not anymore... changing to E98 eventually
I'm got hurt in the Army, so I can only do so much at a time and I almost died last April, but it's getting there, thanks to all the help from my friends.. Especially Jimmy Jones.

Re: New wastegste (21psi) dyno numbers 630+ mustang dyno H22
Great numbers my friend! What kind of head work do you hae done? I see your running the Skunk 2 pro 1's did you ever dyno on stock cames to see what you made? or did you go directily with Pro 1's when you started your build? the reason I asked is Im running a similar setup and Im not happy with the results... I made 480whp 354tq on 17psi with a precision 6765H on 92 octane pump gas... is there anything you would reccomend for me to break into the 550whp range here is what my setup consists of.. if I went to 1200 cc injectors do you think I could get more out of the pump gas? or do you think the 880 would suffice? I have a AEM water/Methenol kit as well I plan on running when I get retuned so I can atleast run 25psi safely on pump. Sorry not trying to thread jack BTW
H22A Turbo Sleeved By JG Dynamics
87mm CP Forged Pistons
95mm Scat Crank shaft
Crower Rods custom length
KAIZENSPEED balance Shaft Elimination Kit
Euro R Intake manifold ported and Polished
68mm BDL Throttle body
880CC Precision Injectors
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator
Earl 6an In line Fuel Filter
Copy of the dyno if intristed
How the hell would you define him as a ricer? ricers are the exact opposite all show and no go... Well I would like to see your dyno sheet and your car? how much it puttin down? If you spend more time building and less time talking **** you might put down some decent power.. just sayin

Making an aluminum trunk for it before to long, just got to get the motivation to do it and whenever my uncle has time to help me... He has an English wheel I need to make the right curvature for the trunk.
Wish I could have non power windows, but they don't make em for my car...

Re: New wastegste (21psi) dyno numbers 630+ mustang dyno H22
Thanks, for wastegate I am happy with it. Last time I was at the track and hit 3rd it really started pulling then 4th was even better. I was surprised it felt the way it did at that low of boost. I can't wait to have some clean passes with it turned up. Looking for low 9's maybe an 8, but I just got to work threw all the little hickups that comes with a newer build.
I can drive the hell out of it as others have said to me, it's just a matter of time, perserverance and money, lol.
I have so many other things I want to do it to, but I really just want to maximize what I have, then improve on it from there.
I will say, the pro 1's made a difference in spool time and power over the BC cams I had. I looked at the before and after results on the dyno and it was obvious all the way threw the powerband. I was going to put some Web cams in it, but after talking with people who made the switch to Web's the gains were minimal and I got these cams for $250. My friend bought them, put them in his car and put about 50 miles on em and started parting out the car.
It went from 570hp ( Mustang ) to 632hp ( mustang ). The only other change was the compression, went from 9-1 to 9:5-1...
I would like to get an 7285 turbo, but I will wait and see if Borg Warner comes out with a new 72mm that works well like their newer SX400 67mm.
Thanks guys, it's been an uphill battle with this thing, but I am not known to quit on things...

Re: New wastegste (21psi) dyno numbers 630+ mustang dyno H22
I don't know if I would push to much more on pump gas, now if it was E85 and you had bigger injectors, I would say go ahead and turn it up. What fuel pump do you have? As far as head work, I had a local machine shop do the head work, they went to work on it, I'll say that. What dyno were you on? I know my mustang dyno reads 13% lower than say, a Dynojet... I've tested it myself. Before I had some old Crower cams and it made 650hp Dynojet and 570hp on my Mustang at 9500rpm and 21psi. I race the car, so the ricer comment was funny to me.

Re: New wastegste (21psi) dyno numbers 630+ mustang dyno H22
We tried many different ways strapping it down to keep from spinning on my car and other cars, this worked the best. It's not strapped directly across the car and pushing down on the fenders, it's got blocks... (For lack of a better word) the strap is going across..
We tried running it down like we do on RWD cars as well along with the corner to corner straps and on a FWD car it didn't work as well as this did.

Oh so your running E85! thats makes more sense now haha I thought you were doing this on regular 92 octane! I should have know when you said you were running 1600 cc injectors that you were on E85 my bad I was running a walbro 255lph but now Im running a walbro 400lph precision 880cc injectors. I plan on running water Methanol injection so I can squeeze a lil bit more out of the pump but nothing too extreme just in case the water/methanol fails for any reason

Re: New wastegste (21psi) dyno numbers 630+ mustang dyno H22
Nice torque #s as well for that HP, can't wait to see it with the wick turned up!
From the strapping I have seen, that really holds the car in place, so it's not climbing the rollers or skewing numbers.
When will you have it down the track again?

Re: New wastegste (21psi) dyno numbers 630+ mustang dyno H22
I'm not sure when I will be back to the track again, the 1/4mile is closed until sometime in January or Febuary, the 1/8th mile track is still open though. It's been a little chilly 30-40's and they usually don't prep the 1/8th mile track to much unless there's a race going on. It's a nice track, but with it being cold like this and not really any track prep, it's almost like being on ice. When it was warmer I went to the 1/8th mile and I wasn't hooking up to well. I would hit 3rd and get a little out of shape.. To say the least, but I drove threw it... It was interesting.
Hopefully next year I will be ready to go like I want it to.... I'm making progress, it's a slow progress, but it's progress any way you look at it.

Re: New wastegste (21psi) dyno numbers 630+ mustang dyno H22
I dont mean to sound like a noob but... wtf is Q16!? yeah im not planning on pushing it any farther with out water/methanol Its my daily driver I don't want to switch to e85 I would have to fuel up more often then I want to haha dollar for dollar water methanol seems for sensible for my daily and would cost less in the long run because of new injectors dual pumps larger steel braided lines ect.. But thank you for the input and keep up the great work on your ride its inspiring for me now I want to shoot for Higher hp numbers on mine
