Default New spring type LMA's

Wasn't getting much help over in the "all motor" section so said i'd ask in here

Basically can anyone confirm if the new spring type LMA's will fit a type r head?

Part no.14820-PCB-305

I had a look on autodynamics-honda and it says they are only for non type r B series

Thanks for reply. So the spring type is definitely not a option?

I used the Prelude lma...$8.xx ea. with stainless washers underneath for spacers..
no problems for 2 yrs... constant 8~9k shifts and occassional over-revs..lol

Would it be a wiser choice to get the spring type and shim over the older type lma's? Also is there anywhere online you can buy the shims?

Yep most people just use a 8mm stainless washer under the spring. I made some spacers out of hardened tooling steel because I have seen cheap washers get smashed by the force of the spring.

8mm as in to accept a 8mm bolt? As .040" is only a little over 1mm! hardly anything when you think of it. I found a company that should be able to make these up so i'll get 8 of the spring type ordered
