They're all too busy drinking tea and driving on the wrong side of the road.
Looks like a fun project.

He is doing modifications here in the states also. So... i'm guessing the mods (setup) the owner wanted was drastically more expensive in europe than it is here?

Machine shops, importing parts, dyno time these all add up to rather large #s as you Americans would say LOL.
The UK is just starting to move into the fully built market, my own build probably cost me half the price of buying local, yep that’s a massive saving just for the parts, spend the rest on petrol to run the dam thing.
Not many companies that can sleeve a block, the ones that can will not guarantees if they split the block while pressing, ends up costing you.
We do have a couple of good tuners to compensate though.

yup. here are some pics:
Cosworth Head:
JUN Stroker kit:
Still trying to decide what i want to do with the drive train...
this fq has the ACD(active center diff) and AYC(active yaw control), and those are actually helpful, but they might not hold the power im going to be putting down...
Also, im planning on doing a little cam shoot out. HKS vs Jun vs Cosworth right now there are HKS cams sitting in the old motor, we ordered JUN's w/ the stroker, and I ordered some cosworths when i ordered the head.
should be interesting...

Now 10k USD would work out very cheap when you convert to UK pounds
Not that I could afford it
BUT, that's looking to be quite a project, looks as if nothing will be to much for this build.
