NEW! J&S Ultra SafeGuard now with AFC
New J&S Ultra SafeGuard features:
1) Individual cylinder knock retard. Mode switches 1 and 2 control knock retard range and retard all/retard individual operation.
2) Boost retard with both a start **** and a rate ****
3) Optional RPM advance/retard software
4) Built in AFC to modify airflow or MAP signal
5) Built in MAP Limiter. Adjustable from 2.7v to 4.90 v.
6) TPS trick to "pull" signal to 5v at 0 psi. Used to trick ECU out of closed-loop.
7) Mode switches 3 and 4 set the unit to one channel or two channel operation, so it will work on Honda, MR2, Subaru-Eclipse, Miata, RX7.
The AFC part of the unit is not user programmable, so the settings must be pre-programmed. The intent is to provide an airflow voltage/RPM table that will work with a specific injector size and fuel pressure.
If the application is specified at time of order, switches 3, 4, and 5 can be programmed to tweak the AFC, giving eight possible settings.
We have already started shipping units to our Subaru customers, but with lack of data, the AFC is disabled in software. Instead, the Subaru MAP sensor signal passes through the unit, and the adjustable MAP Limiter feature (FCD) is used to prevent fuel cut.
The hardware exists and is working, we just need data for the AFC part of it. If anyone is using an Apexi S-AFC with a MAP sensor, send me your settings and injector size.
If anyone else has ideas for settings, please let me know.
Introductory price is $525.00. Uses factory knock sensor.

Hey John, how adaptable it the J&S with a non-EFI setup? I sponsor a 640cid Outlaw 10.5 car and I have been trying to get him to run one for a while now. He's running dual Dominators, a multi-Fogger setup and the MSD Digital 7 I believe.

Universal unit
Our universal unit will work with an MSD, but you will need MSD PN 8509 magnetic stabilizer to interface to magnetic pickup distributor. Not required if stock ignition triggers MSD White wire.
EFI not necessary. Universal unit is $495.
