I just saw this today in a Mag while I was at Fry's.....



Now looking at the position of the TB I was wondering if this would help/hurt performance in a FI car. If you can picture it in your engine bay, which is usually tight, the charge pipe would have to make a mean 90º turn to get in.

Can anyone tell me what they think.... heheh it might be ok if you route your charge pipe thru your firewall lol.

 

that is the same basic design of the intake mani on my d16y7, my intake has a sharp 90 degree so it doesn't go up into my hood

 

id think piping would have to come in at a horrible angle and the firewall would become an issue... looks like no fun to me.
