Default New guy having trouble with install.

I have a 94 Integra GSR and I am currently in the process of turbocharging it. I bought a used kit from a friend of a friend, and I guess the kit was originally from South Florida Performance. It included an SFD turbo manifold, Turbonetics wastegate, To4E turbo, oilpan tapped for return line, intercooler piping, and a rev-hard intercooler. I bought some RC 440cc injectors and a Hondata S200 ECU to provide the fuel, but the install is really causing some major problems for me. I've never witnessed a turbo install on a B series, and have obviously never done one before. I'm having some fitment issues, and I'm not sure how to correct them. There were no instructions or anything given with the kit, so I'm kind of just going by guessing. Here's the pics I just took, though, of the fitment problems:

Do I even have the turbo facing the right way? There's basically no way the turbo and manifold will ever be flush unless I cut away at the block itself...and I didn't know if I HAD to remove the A/C to get this to work...I was under the impression that I did not have to do that. Any help would be very much appreciated.

looks like your going to need to notch the block, you can try mount the turbo the other way , which will give you clearance on the other side, but by the looks of it, it might be worse.

what size turbo is that.. ?

platinum.

K, thanks for the quick replies...shaving the block looks like the easiest route for me. Thanks again!

the dipstick should still fit in between runners 2 and 3, then down into the hole. it takes good aim, but it will work.

Yup. Also, most log style manifolds do not support A/C. But the problems you are having are very common with all budget, and expensive for that matter, turbo projects. Don't worry, relax, and have fun with it. **** will work out.
