New to FI forum, Just saying Hi........
Hey,
I'm not new to H-T, but i am new to FI. I just swapped a B18b into my 95 coupe and am in need of some info along the lines of the best route to go for Turboing this motor. Any suggestions or info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Just thought i'd share some pics too.........

Yeah, ive been lurking around here for awhile, but i just had to get the "stupid newbie post" out of the way..
Since i'm not to familiar with FI, i figured i'd get some peoples opinions on what the best setup would be for a daily driven B18b...

b18b in a civic = B18b+turbo in a civic Too bad its not a hatch...but still lighter than the teg. Have fun and just remember to do a search, even tho the search engine sucks nuts.

JV,
Welcome I won't bitch I'm new also. You did exactly what I was going to do except I think I found a way to make my dream of having an integra come true. My idea was to upgrade to JE 9.0:1 pistons and some rods either eagle or crowder (sp?) and run 10-12lbs of boost. I haven't decided on a turbo yet but it looks as if it's going to be the Garrett T3 or Garrett T3/T4. Of course I might want to sell my jeep and get my integra first right?

You may want to think about how much power you'll ultimately want. From people's other's experiences I'd say if you're staying under 300 whp, stock internals will be just fine. Hondata is a must. I love mine.
From my own exp. stay away from doing the vtec head conversion unless you are gunning for high hp without head head work.

damn JV, me and you are in the same boat, except your a couple steps ahead of me...I get my 92 hatch in August or Sept. and right now I'm looking for a b18b complete swap, I'm gonna bore it out and throw forged internals in and a turbo kit boosting between 9-14psi, depending on situation....tuned with hondata of course!
but for now I'm running around in my 200+whp Toda C powered ITR (haven't tuned it yet...being broken in )
