The new EM1 build - TONS of pics!
I FINALLY TOOK HER TO THE DYNO! I street tuned her about 4 months ago and just never made it to the dyno to see where i was sitting at for power, but tonight i finally took her. This was done on a Mustang Dyno. I tuned it VERY conservative running 17 deg of timing at 16psi.
465 whp / 275 tq @15-16 psi she was boost creepin hard!

Hey guys whats up. Well I've decided to do another build on my 6th Si. This Si is here to stay i promise! Back in 2005 some of you may remember my MR Em1 that was fully built, well this one is going to surpass that one hopefully! Unlike last time, I will share the entire process of this one. So here we go with the setup.
B18B Stock Sleeve Block CNC machined 81.5mm
9:1 CP
Eagles w/ARP
GSR head with Supertech goodies
GSR cams
AFI Top mount kit T3/T67 H.O.
S300
Kteller 3" exhaust
Skunk 2 70mm throttle body
Edelbrock Victor X 70mm
That about sums up the major parts. Now for the pics so far.

I plan to hit somewhere in the ballpark of 550whp. To be honest, if i break 500 im happy. She'll be going up to Evans sometime in Sept.
Next and final step before I actually assemble it is the head. Droppin that off tomorrow for the build and should have it back in about 2-3 days. cant wait!!!

I'm in for updates. I hope to be back in boost in a year or so. It was fun. Good luck with everything and keep us updated.
Are those ACL crank bearings or did you just make sure the clearances were good and got the correct bearings from Honda? Building a motor out of the engine bay would be so much easier than in-the-bay build. I wish I could have done that.

I will post up some pics of the head i just got back today from the shop. It looks pretty sick! Right now im on vacation so im kinda at a stand still. This week i will be posting up lots of new stuff. The motor is coming out on wednesday, finish up the build on the new motor, and hopefully in on Thursday. Im kind of overwhelmed with all the stuff i still have to do. I havent even touched the car on other stuff that needs to be done. ugh. Thanks for all the comments.

Well the wait has ceased. Just got a set of Clevite 77 HX's in so hopefully this will be it as far as bearings go. Once this is in tonight, i can go ahead and FULLY assemble the motor. Still waiting on motor mounts to come in tho so it definitely isnt going in just yet.
