Default new dyno numbers

made 735whp and 483lbft torque today.it was blowing out the spark on that run and the miss got worse.not sure what the problem is but it probably would have made another 40hp if it wasn't missing.

Ah you are finding out now that the CTR cam is working out better than the GSR cams on this newer set up?! Weren't you the guy who had gained 58whp or so from swapping from 00-01 ITR Cams to GSR cams? That was when you only had a log style mani though right?

If I got the wrong person I do apologize

Edit:Oh yeah sick #s,now go run that bitch and run some 9's !

yeah, that was me.but then i had a shorty manifold and a much smaller turbo that could actually use more mid range power.this turbo has not even started the least little bit where the other one made the gains.

oh yeah, thanks!

Now I can use this thread to refer people to when I see the 10 posts next week that say ITR/CTR cams VS GSR cams for Turbo!! Which is BEST Threads! lolololol Again it is proven that manifold and turbo size is what determines eventually what cams will work out best

Edit:Oh yeah when I had done my test 3 years back I gained 37whp at 8700rpm and revved to 9500rpm and made a total of 53whp increase BUT I also had a T4/T67 turbo and Full Race ProStreet manifold at that time

agreed 100%
the only reason i even ever dynoed it with the gsr cams on this setup is that i did not have the money at the time and i wanted to go race.
from what i have seen, the big cams work good at high rpm(the only time a huge turbo is being used) and keep making power up to a higher rpm. the gsr cams make better mid range power and fall off sooner, which works better when the turbo is smaller and comes in sooner

Looks good, I was looking and wondering why it was falling off at 8500rpm BUT it looks like it gets rich up top, did you guys try leaning it up and reallly revving it? Are you still using the stock ITR intake manifold?

need to take some more pics but
here is a not very current engine pic but not much different :

and a couple of track pics :
