Nice downpipe... but how are you going to run your charge pipe? Is it going through a 90 degree turn from the turbo and then inbetween the turbo and downpipe? Also, what turbo is that, it's not the ssautochrome turbo is it?

I like that there isn't such a tight radius on the first bend off the exhaust flange. That should help with the velocity of air and spool up.

Its an SSautochrome manifold, Precision SC61
The charge pipe will run like any other normal setup

Jesse isnt running A/C or P/S, so i made the downpipe accordingly. I did leave enough room to retain the side brace mount on the block. There is very little restriction with this downpipe since the arc is gradual, and the downpipe hugs the oil pan to give maximum road clearance.

Re: New Downpipe pics!!! (boosted hybrid)
Something I've always wondered is with the downpipe going on the drivers side, the chargepipe has to pass fairly close to it. Does this cause raised temps on the charge air?

Im not 100% sure but i don't think it would be anything noticeable since the charge hasn't been cooled yet.

the oil line also has to cross the DP. I like to mount my turbos the other way just to make it cleaner and to eliminate one 90* bend in the DP for slightly better flow. If you lay it out correctly both ways work fine, just one has a few more thing to watch out for.

I still think having the compressor on the drivers side makes for a better flowing downpipe. Not sure how much real world advantage there is

thats what i'm spraying. I think the real world advatage is how easy it is to setup and work on. one less bend doesn't hurt either
