HRTuning

i'm curious to why you've decide to keep this great piece of software from the public. are you afraid that the soft will be pirated, there are ways that can take care of that. if people wants to blow up their own engine because they don't know what they are doing, let them do it. most of the people on this forum love to tinker have made some kind of mod to their engine within the last 6 months. they want the opportunity to tune themselves and not rely on someone else. obviously, you want monetary compensation for your hard work, but i think the best way to do that is to make it available to the mass, not just a hand full selected tuners. it's a shame that a lot of people will never appreciate this software because it's not available to them. maybe you have some alternative motives, i don't know....

You're definitely right about the alternative motives... Monetary compensation for my time and effort is one of the lowest on the list... I'm not interested in selling it to the masses... Anyone who wants the opportunity to tune their own setup already has a wealth of different things to choose from... I only want experienced tuners to use this and offer it to the public... Anyone getting NepTuned knows that their tuner is competent and will provide them with a reliable tune at an affordable price...

yes, but nothing like NepTune. more features then Hondata and easier to use than EMS.

i guess it's a kind of quality control. nothing bad can be said about NepTune because only the pro can touch it.

No, that's not it either... I offer an extreme level of customer support to my tuners... They can call me ANY time of the day... I walk them through any thing they need help with or fix things they need fixed right then and there... I'm not willing to sacrifice good customer support just so I can sell it to 109108085722424 people and make a bunch of money...

Geoff, glad to see you're running again
I'm also switching over to NepTune from Hondata. I like the features and the flexibility of NepTune so much better...

What a tease. Well, you did say it was a video of a Civic starting up, and that's exactly what it was.

Is this car for your girlfriend? I hope she can handle it.

What does uberdata have to do with newbie questions?

This ems sounds really great, but i think the fact that you can't tune it yourself kind of sucks

maybe it would be a good idea to allow users to adjust their own traction control, launch control stuff etc. Just leave the tuning of fuel and ignition to the pro tuners.

Is it adjustable to the customer? If so how do we adjust it? I was NepTuned yesterday and didnt hear anything about how to adjust it. Thanks.
