Right here buddy! Read the signature. There are plenty of other people that you just don't hear about. I was choosing between Hondata and Neptune too, and I'm glad I made the choice I did, it was actually no brainier for me, I was sold on it pretty quickly.

I want to know, is it worth it for the people that don't live in the areas that have tuners?
For example, if I wanted to get "neptuned" I have to drive something like 9 hours to the closest tuner. Is it really that much better?

I honestly believe that it is. Don't get me wrong because the Hondata system is still a great system, but after experiencing Neptune I can not get over the versatility of the system.

Jason (St00pid) at Autologic Inc. in Houston, Tx is the one whom tuned it. He did a great job and will be using him in the future along with Tony1 to finish up the setup.

cost is around 300 dollars cheaper than a s200b with no add-ons and the tuning is the same price.

the features in neptune sound great...definintly offers more than hondata. Personally though I am a poor college kid so I stick to my free uberdata .

Does anyone know if you will have the ability to add/change/or modify things yourself or do you have to go through a tuner.

I like the ability to play around not necesarily with the boost portion but more so with the threshold and low end driveability while retaining or acheving more power in the upper. I want to learn explore and eventually hopefully be able to use or at least try to use all of the fetures on my own with help from others. I dont want to get something that gets tuned once or twice then it just is stuck there. Thats why I am soooooooo undecided between the AEM, Hondata, now Neptune steps in and throws everything that i learned and leaned too out the window.
I really dont understand why people around my area(rookies) who brag about being dyno tuned with the s2 by so and so and then when you ask them ? about lower end and driveability they have not clue but they can tell you that with 116 and 4 hours on the dyno they can make 300(jackasses).

When you ride in their car yes it does pool, yes there is the obvious improperly selected turbo lag but most of all the thing runs like caca when jus tnormal driving.

Sorry for the long wind.....

Every tuner is different on price.
Expect to pay 500-600 total with software and tuning...

500-600 with software and tuning aint bad.

considering an aem costs 1200+ tuning costs
hondata aint cheap either. its a overall cheaper better solution.

cheaper and better in the same sentance. finally-

Well first off welcome to the boards. Second off, since you are in the Dallas area I would contact Tony1 or St00pid (Houston, TX area) for your Neptune/Hondata/AEM tuning needs. There a lot of people in the area that think that the big numbers are the thing to shoot for other than drivability and realiability.

With Neptune, as of right now, the owner of the system does not have the ability to tune it themselves. Neptune is an exclusive system that only a handful of tuners will be allowed to get their hands on, and the reason that the system is not offered yet is so that this program does not get into other tuners hands whom are not licensed to deal with it. For right now, everything has to go through an authorized tuner. I've heard that they are working on the program to allow the user to eventually be able to datalog, but as of right now only the tuner has access to the program. If you have any questions about anything in the DFW area, please feel free to IM me.
