Default Need some turbo advice...

I searched and didn't come up with anything definitive.

I have a 96 hatchback with the stock d16y7 in it and am thinking about getting a turbo kit for it. I need to know if I need to beef up the bottom end before turbo'ing it. I plan to run 6-8 psi daily and maybe bump it up to 10 psi for track use. The motor has 80k miles on it. I would like to be able to achieve 180-200 hp with the car(if possible). So with that in mind, should I upgrade the pistons and rods and other internals, or would the stock one's hold up? I want the car to be as reliable as possible, so I want to get it right the first time. Also, do I need to do the mini-me head swap on the car before putting on the turbo? The kit is supposed to be for the y8, so not sure exactly what I should do there. Thanks alot for any and all advice on this subject. I have searched around everywhere for info, but just not sure what I need to do. Thanks guys!

you know your anwsers already. The stock bottom end will hold up at 6-8. Key is tuning.

Anyone else? And what is meant by tuning? What all is involved in tuning a turbo'd motor?

Proper engine management is the key to any forced induction setup. Without proper fuel management, timing, etc. things can get ugly quickly. I would also suggest changing the timing belt while your at it.
