Default Need some opinions

Hey guys, i currently have a b17 turbo setup. I spun a rod bearing. I plan on buidling the motor and was thinking of my options. My first choice was to get a hold of an LS block(build/sleeve it) and use my b16 head(lsvtec turbo). Or I could put in b16 crank/rods(build/sleeve) and make it a b16 turbo....What do you guys think? I am mechanically inclined and have built a couple DSMs, but im kinda new to this Honda thing...I'm am looking for the best bang for the buck and plan on building this motor once correctly without having to worry about it later. Any constructive input would be appreciated!!!

it will most likely cost you about the same for either a b16 or ls block build. LS will give you more torque because of the longer rod/stroke ratio.

Thats what i was thinking but would going to an LS setup mean i have to get a bunch of new crap or with the stuff(oil pump etc) from the b17 work?
