Well there is a shop near me called Tuning Factory. The worker there is trying to sell me a 99 EK Hatcback. The body is in good condition, no rust but mainly some dings. The car is rolling on some gold advans. The car has 21,000 miles according to him and the block has 2,000 miles. He is asking for $10,000 straight up and to me that seems really really high for the car. I will list everything that he told me and you guys tell me if it's a good deal

Engine:-
GSR block
81mm JE Pistons
Eagle H-Beam Rods
ARP headbolt

Everything else was rebuilt using stock parts

Turbo:-
Innovative 60-1 (built by Theshodan, maybe he could chime in)
Custom IC piping
Apex'i Intercooler (supposedly handles 550+ HP, but looks too small)
Custom built header like the One-Fab Type One
Greddy BOV
Hondata S300
3" from turbo and back

The car made 414HP and 289lb/ft at 17psi w/ turbo blue. This us fully tuned and the car hauls..

I just want to know is the price of $10,000 worth it for the mods. I know he is trying to get his money's worth but that seems way too high for a body that's in decent shape, and for an engine setup that's ok. I mean the engine isn't sleeved and it's not a clean bay either.

i think its a great deal...that set up isn't cheap and building an engine is about $1500-2000+.....the turbo **** is $3000....so figure the car w/ 21k is worth $6k....

I would do it if i had no car and $10k, but i bought my 99 GSR instead....

Maybe it is just me, but for the psi, and hp/tq the numbers should be a little bit higher especially since they are running race gas in that... there have been plenty of pump gas dynos on here higher than that with simliar turbos. but hey, what do I really know

race gas doesnt gain your hp/tq
