need some help on tuning meth
i'm in the process of building a drag vw and would like to see if anyone on here has any experience on tuning a meth burning setup. my setup is a 2.0 16v, rods and pistons, comp ratio is 9.5 to 1. with a redline of 9500 rpm. looking for somewhere around 600whp. fuel system consists of a areomotive a1000 pump and matching regulator with -8 feed and -6 return lines. i was thinking that an 8 pack of 830cc injectors would be enough to keep it fed at my power level on meth. any insight or setup tips would be greatly appriciated. thanks, joel

8 880cc injectors will barely be enough fuel for 600whp, put something bigger in it. We run 8 1600's on the race cars and we're still almost out of fuel. I'm not sure that pump you have will flow enough either. Make sure you put a fuel pressure gauge on it so you can keep an eye on fuel pressure on the dyno, to make sure it's maintaining.

Hello. Are you on any of the vw boards(vwsport or poortex) ? whats your SN?
I dont think you want to go through the hassle of methanol for only 600 whp, the 16v motor will not have any detonation problems using C16 fuel.
