need some help I am at a loss
alright within the past month or so my car has just been f'in with me. sometimes it runs like a champ and others it runs like ***.
Most of the time its in the morning when it runs like ***. it will buc, idle so low it will cut off, have a roaming idle, break up over like 2000 rpm. and it just pisses me off cause other times it will run like a champ.
This is a list of things that I have done after searching for similar issues.
1.changed fuel filter
2.changed spark plugs and checked gap
3.ran seafoam and some lucas injector cleaner through. not at same time
4.changed oil. then changed it again after 500 miles (some guy said he did it and it helped) and oil filter of course
5. replaced battery (needed it)
6. replaced both positive and negitive battery terminals.
7. replaced negitive ground wire (have a earth grounding kit on the way just in case)
8. have been mased street tuned
9. check to make sure there are no vaccum or exhaust leaks.
*** forgot to say that I cleaned out the IACV.
the main thing that I keep going back to is my intake manifold which has a vaccum leak in it. it came from the factory like that. its a golden eagle im.
I am just almost out of ideas to what it could be. I have another im that I am going to order and get retuned with it. but in the mean time I would like to try to fix this problem.

I have an aem ems. but see its mostly the mornings but some mornings it runs great. and then at night (about same temp/humidity as morning) it runs fine most of the time.
I am going to replace that im but my reserve is that its been that way since I got the im. and it just started doing this about a month ago.

Re: (reed857)
alright well my memory sucks. I have what looks like 2 map sensors on my tb. one I think is the old style and the one that is pluged in is the new style. I will try and see if I can just plug in the old one and see what happens. problem is I dont have a laptop with me to check and make sure all the a/f ratios are good. anyway any more hints?
