Default NEED SOME HELP.....CIVIC TYPE R CRANK PULLEY, GOOD OR BAD??..........

Is anyone here running a civic type R crank pulley (single belt) with a boosted car makin 600+hp...... im kinda stuck and have to run this pulley..... some poeple say its ok and some say its no good cause it doesnt have the rubber dampner in it..any info is much appreciated.......

Why not the True CTR Pulley is dampered from the factory. Its just like useing any other stock pulley but Lighted and dampered from the factory so you get less parasitic drag = More power

Bad idea. . Someone on here just made a thread about shattering an oil pump gear, he was using a ctr pulley also. .

i already have the external pump so im gonna use it....but i have heard mixed things about the civic type r pulley.......the pulley has been balanced together with the complete bottom end (pulley, crank,flywheel,pressure plate)... so what do u think....should i have any problems?????

I dont think you will have any problems but thats just me.. I have never heard or seen or had any probs with a CTR Pulley.

you wont have anyproblem I think...I run a Unorthodox crank pulley for about 4 years and I never had any problem....

How much power were you making? How high were you revving your engine? Did you take it this high everyday?
