Hey I'm doing a junkyard setup on my crx d16a6. Does it matter if I use a turbo from a 1st gen or 2nd gen eclipse that came from an automatic or is it any different then the one that came on the manual 5speed models????

 

I need to know if this will fit my car and what kind of turbo it is.

If I can get it for $115 cnd funds think its worth it? guy says it spins great and fins are excellent.

 

it looks to be from a 1g dsm. if it is from a auto car it is a 13b rather than a 14b. it is just a touch smaller but nothing really noticable. yes that will work on your crx. are you going to be running a HF manifold? if so you are going to be need an adapter to bolt everything up. that turbo will spool pretty quick and should pull til redline. check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com for more info

2nd gen come with a t25.

Get the one off the 1st gen

 

I've checked out homemadeturbo before and I'm pretty well educated in how a turbo kit works and what I need I was just not 100% sure which turbo this was because the guy thats selling it dosnt know either. He just knows its a eclipse turbo. Thanks for the replies though I bought it and I'm gonna try and run a dsm smic, dsm bov, hf header and I'm undecided on my charge pipes so far. I'm shooting for 5-6psi I just need a little more power and I'm on a budget.
