need to put cams in my built b18c turbo, which cams are which!
I searched but no definitive answer found,
I have a slightly built b18c turbo, ne wayz ive got some supposed b18c cams sitting aroung id like to put into it, but the reason i didnt put em in last time is they looked identical to the cams that supposedly came from my friends auto b16a...
i dont have a micrometer but i measured a both plus my b17a cams, and they all seemed to measure the same all the way around the lobe even though i thought i could see a difference in some of them, needless to say i gave the known auto cams away, and re used my b17a cams, and lept the auto cam looking b18c cams around. so my question is how do i tell if ive got b18c cams or b16a auto cams.
also ne opinions on how to decide which cams to use, ive heard some funny stuff like auto cams, only one of em is different then the regualr cams, and that the auto cams are great for turbo and share similar specs to expensive aftermarket turbo cams, either way the b18c cams are supposed to be more agresseive and different then the b16a cams in general.
plz help me out lemme know.

when i bought 2nd hand gsr cams they had 3 rings at the end....i dont know if that helps!

interested in buying crower turbo cams for gsr? They are used approx. 600 miles.

Hope that this helps you out a lttle. I have heard rumors about the auto cams running well but no first hand experience.
