I was recently driving my turbo integra and it all the sudden started to smoke a little bit out of the tailpipe, so I wasn't sure where it was coming from, but I did just rebuild the engine with new rings, bearings, valve seals so I didn't think it was coming from there unless a ring broke so I thought maybe it was coming from the turbo, well I disconnected the external wastegate and it would not smoke out of that but it would out the tailpipe indicating that the turbo had gone or is going. Now I looked at my paperwork for the turbo and its a Garrett t3 stage 46 trim compressor, stage 2 turbine, .63 a/r housing. I am not very good when it comes to turbo numbers. What does this all mean? I have found some t3 turbos, but the 46 trim compressor is hard to find, they are all bigger than that and also most are a stage 3? What and where could I find this turbo. The reason being the car is tuned to this turbo and I would like to just swap out this turbo with the same one so I won't have to pay another $500 to tune it. Would another turbo work without going to the dyno and re adjusting everything? What would you suggest. I have a ls integra, AEM EMS, ugo, tial wastgate, pushing about 8psi. I really don't care about making huge amounts of HP I just want it reliable and something I don't have to rev the crap out of to make power. Please help me find the turbo or explain which turbo I could use. Thanks
