aside from the obvious angles you see, the coupler on the right is about 2" higher than the coupler on the left. the entire assembly requires an "S" shaped tube.
no welder nor cut off tool is due to location, i don't have the space for it.

looks like an oem srt-4 intercooler?
unless you can find a pre-made s tube you're pretty much hosed... do you have a local fab guy?

it is an SRT4 intercooler which fits so wonderfully. there are plenty of fabricators around, and i can technically go to my old work place and just use the welder there. it requires, diplomacy.

that could work, not sure how it would like repeated heat and pressure cycles, not to mention vibrations... I see it cracking very very quickly, unless you overbuild it by a factor of like 5 lol.
When diplomacy fails, try using bullets :p
I don't see why a fab shop (other than your old job) wouldn't be capable of doing this in a matter of an hour or two and fairly cheap.. 2 cuts max, 1 weld, bead rolling 2 edges.... should be cheap, especially if you supply materials
I'm still debating using an OEM SRT-4 intercooler on my build but my goals have gone up to 400-425whp. I think the compact size would work better for the aero package I'm building and the required ducting for my oil cooler, trans cooler, brake ducts, etc. Just not sure the OEM could support that level on a road course for 20 minute sessions. I know CX Racing makes a larger core but it's huge all over compared to the OEM

no, a straight pipe will not work with certainty. it will pinch the couplers too much. however i will try a 45 degree bend alone (i am sceptical about it though)
