need help on what internals i should get for h22 turbo
im looking to push at least 15psi daily driven and 20-25 psi for track use. my question is, what exactly do i need. i know i need sleeves, rods pistons etc, but what brand would u reccomend, what size etc. what comp. pistons? what size sleeves. i need to know whatever there is to know, do i need to do sumthing to my crankshaft or leave it stock? how much did u pay and where? i have a $2000 budget. only thing i would need install on is the sleeves. been researching alot and its very confusing. so a little help would be appreciated. I would prefer people who have built there h22's or have the same setup as i want to reply but all are welcome. thanks in advance. And just to let you know im serious and to give you some incentive to take the time to answer all my questions, there will be a few bucks in it for ya through paypal. thanks again.

I am in the process of doing my buildup...I used cp pistons, full-race rods, cosmetic head gasket, arp headsutds.mainstuds. new oil pump, water pump, timing belt... I plan to get benson sleeves. U are looking at about 3000-3500 to build a block. I would go with like 9.1 Compression of like 9.5.1 at the highest

Re: (Silverhatch)
@k will buy you the bare minimums. 1g for the sleeves, pistons ar about $500, and eagle rods are $300. with whats left get a set of bearings, a new headhasket, and whatever gasket you cn afford (oil pan, valve cover and cam seal) If you can't afford it, reuse your old ones. Not the best idea and actually pretty half assed but hey it's your car. If the motor has quite a bit of miles on it, try to find a water pump, oil pump, and timing belt. It's not needed really but strongly suggested.
Now what to get.... can't go wrong with GE or beson sleeves, buy the pistons first, send them with the block and they'll have it bored and honed to spec. Pistons are pretty much up to you, I've had good luck with cp and endyn, other's swear by arias, weisco, and the others. All of them will work just fine as long as the tuning is there. I'd go with 9:1 compression since you want so much boost. And since your on a budget, eagle rods are the cheapest set and can handle good amounts of power.

don't need any of those in the bottem end. Why wouldn't hondata support +20psi? The injectors probably won't but hondata will be fine.

eh stock sleeves will not do... He's talking about the H22, forged pistons = iron sleeves or busted motor.
How much are the dartons? Does that include the installation, bore and hone, and line bore? It all adds up and if it's close to 1000, I'd go with benson or GE's. GE's are good up to 60psi, now thats just one thing less to worry about

Re: (Wo-Nelly)
darton quoted me 210 for there flanged sleeves. 600 for there mid kit. they said that there flanged sleeves will hold 25psi easily. any truth in this?
