Need help on turbo sizing
Hi guys iam new on ht and in need of help with a turbo question
i have a fully built 2001 integra type R and iam looking to push aroud
500 whp i have a brand new gt30R but i can go bigger my question is should i upgrade to a gt35R instead and wath would be the up and downside of getting a larger unit will it have a big lag diff??and would it be a best match for my need i only plan on street driving it and the oc weekend battle at the drag strip
ps. sorry for all the typo iam french

how can the compressor be "on the wrong side"? You can flip the turbo around for the compressor to face either way. The GT30R will do around 525 at max, and probably bust 400 WHP on pump gas.

GT35R will make you happy and real quick what do you mean fully built? explain your setup, Then we will be able to tell you if you're a Euro grenade builder or not

GT30R can get you to 500, GT35R can get you to 600 HP. (ACCORDING to Garrett. Of course your mileage may vary.)
I think you really need the GT60.

Yeah, but in reality the GT30R is good for 525, probably 550 with a 5-bar map and really leaning on it. 605 WHP has already been made on a GT35R and under 30 pounds of boost, it's significantly bigger.
