i had a b16 turbo crx with a small t3 running 16psi...but the turbo was to small and i had to run 16psi on that little turbo to make any kind of power....which 16psi daily is to much for that turbo...but anyway i switched my setup to ls/vtec....stock ls block...only with arp rod bolts and headstuds...and i need help in choosing a turbo...

Goals:

Low 12 second Car On full boost
Daily Driven .....But im willing to let sit in shop if things go wrong(have another car to drive)

I am going to have a DSBC (dual stage boost controller) so im gonna run low boost on the daily and full boost when i race...but i need help in choosing a turbo so somebody help me out here. Let me know the turbo that best suits my needs

 

Your T3 turbo and slicks can push your CRX to low 12's. You only need about 112-115 MPH, and in a say 2200 pound car that's 240-260 WHP. Worry more about your driving skill than pilling on gobs of power and running a 12.1 @ 140.

 

yea maybe but i am really cautious about running so much boost on that small turbo

 

A GT28RS would be a decent turbo for this application.
