Default Need help...turbo EM1 problem...

Ok...here's the deal.

Turbo/built block EM1
Hondata/walbro/precision 1000cc injectors

The car idles fine. Drives fine for about 5-10 minutes...then all hell breaks loose. The car starts missing/backfiring and it's impossible to give it the slightest throttle without major bucking/backfiring. It was running great, then I started having a studder in boost...now it's completely undriveable. All happened within about 100 miles.

The spark plugs are brand new NGK's...replaced 3 days ago hoping it would fix the problem
Wires are also brand new NGK's...same deal
Fuel filter maybe has 40 miles on it...also hoped that was the problem
Pump screen has about 40 miles on it...same deal

Dizzy is about 2000miles old...I'm not ruling it out...I think it may be the problem. (Distributor King replacement)

Wideband reads perfect most of the time during the hesitation and backfiring.

Does this sound like an ignitor problem? Maybe a coil?

The car isn't with me right now due to it's horrible behavior earlier today...so I can't test anything until I bring it back home from it's current resting place.

drives fine 5-10 min--- do you mean before its up to operating temp, or any time you cut it off and restart it. if it is before its up to temp then it should still be in open loop then, if thats the case it could be a ecu program issue with the hondata? idunno my first guess, i could be waaaaay off though.

The car is tuned and this has gotten progressively worse.

It was running great 3 weeks ago, then started studdering in boost.
Then it started studdering at the transition to boost and minor part throttle conditions.

Now, it idles fine...only revs to 3K and the second you let the clutch out the rpms drop to the 800 or so mark and the car has no power. I tried revving it up and dumping the clutch just to get it moving to get me off the main road but that was pretty much useless. There was absolutely no power...barely enough to move the car.

maybe the chips themselves are bad. esd could have damaged them if you werent using static straps when handling them.

It's a hondata s300...no chips...it's RTP

I'm going to check the tps/coil/ignitor tomorrow.

I'm stuck on sensors and such because it was running perfect, then suddenly started with small issues...then worked it's way into being undriveable.

first thing id try is new coil and/or ignitor.

it sounds like an electrical circut is heating up and then loosing connectivity. Possibly even main relay.

Tested coil/ignitor/tps sensor

Coil was bad. Got a new one and put it in. Car is deadly quick again!!!!!!!!
