Need help quick, in the middle of an install!
I was installing the new 450 injectors I got and when I took off the fuel rail some gas spilled out onto my still warm intake manifold and LUCKILY it only evaporated. I was fucing lucky. I'm guessing since my engine wasn't cooled down all the way, fuel pressure was still in the system? I quickly snapped on the fuel rail before anymore spilled out.. how long until the sytem's fuel pressure drops? Please respons so I can finish my turbo installation! Thanks in advance.
If you pulled the rail off there isn't any pressure left. That doesn't mean the fuel that was in the rail and lines disappeared though.

I don't think your IM will get hot enough to ignite the fuel. Just mop it up with a shop rag, you'll be fine.
i think u open the gas cap to relieve pressure, but thats too late for you now. Dont worry, you will not catch on fire. I drove half a mile with a hot engine with half a tank of gass shooting out of my FPR once, and i didnt die. Almost from the fumes though.
Yeah, you just have to take off the gas cap to relieve the pressure. There's not much fuel in the rail, anyway, so once maybe a couple ounces comes out of the rail that should be all and by the time you get done it'll be gone.
