Default Need Help - PeakBoost Fiasco

Hello All,

We are trying to dig out of this PeakBoost fiasco and have 1 customer left that we are getting parts to fill their order. I need someone with a 94+ GSR & a PeakBoost kit to please send me the dimensions and a picture if possible of the FMIC. We are having to go to PWR directly and pay to have them build the correct intercooler to get our customer squared up. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

^^ This would be a better Idea. Inform your customer of the situation and give them a bar-plate equivalent that would work. PWR takes a LOOOOOONG time to get those made. I'd see about a PRecision or some other Garrett equivalent.

Grant, the dimension are 24x6x3.5 intercooler with 2.5" inlet/outlet. The core is actually a Garrett bar/plate core and PWR ends. If you want the core you can buy them from here or Garrett direct

Good luck

As was said, just make a custom intercooler. Will cost less and you wont wait a month or more.

Why wouldn't PWR have those dimensions themselves? If they were making them for Peakboost they should have a record at the very least.

They may only have reciepts of the core/endtank sizes that peakboost ordered through them. If they've gotten rid of those P.Os. or purged their system, there's no record. Many business do that on a regular basis.

Again, give PWR a call, but don't expect the world unless it is with a larger P.O.

Update 12/21/10

Thanks everyone for your feedback. We were able to square up the 2 of our customers that got caught up in this BS. We had to make the customers whole by sending them Full Race parts, Vibrant, Tial & Garrett on our own dime. But when they bought from TurboKits.com we promised to get them what they paid for

Thanks again for the help guys!

Happy Holidays.
