ok heres the deal. i just got the car out of the shop yesterday. i had new turbo put on it. it was running great lastnite. this morning on the way to work there was a GT that was wanting to play so when he went to pass i downshift out of 5th in to 4th at around 60mph. the car was running strong all the way up to around 80 mph then i heard a loud gush of air and after that i cant build boost in any gear. i checked all the lines and the intercool pipes, nothing came loose. and i have no idea what it could be. maybe someone on here can help. thanks

 

Check your pipes again. Pull the joints apart and I bet one of the pipes is loose.

 

ok heres the deal. after letting the car cool down so i could look around. one of the u-bends pipes came loose and was just sitting in the rubber clamp. so now ill i need to do is re-tighten it back down. thanks for the help.

 

I did this onetime only when it blew off i thought it was the clutch.....

Thank god i didn't find the loose pipe because when i took her apart to put a new clutch in the clutch disk had a crack in it
