need help on IC piping size please
I tried a search and it seems that 99.99% of the people out there are only trying to meet 250-400hp. Well, I'm looking more for a 600-650hp goal and I want to make sure the IC pipiing I get it right. I am looking to drag race my car with a b18c1 and pt67 turbo probably pushing anywhere between 20-30psi. I have not picked up an IC yet because I am having an even bigger issue there(size, air/liquid, air/air etc etc)
Any help will be appreciated

i have a honda/acura turbo book and im just going by the book, it says for 400hp and more 2.5" will work, no need for bigger than that.

I would say 2.5" at most. Now if your going for crazy HP like over 700+hp. Then you might want to run 3". But the bigger piping will create more lag. Maybe not a significant amount but it will be there nonetheless. Right now I have 2" from the compressor to the intercooler. Then 2 1/4" from the intercooler to the charge pipe and the charge pipe is 2 1/2". Basically what comes with the Rev Hard Stage 2C Kit. I do plan on upgrading to 2.5" piping in the future with a bigger turbo. But for now it works fine. I mean unless you tried to run something like 1.5" piping. I really dont see any problems for the normal steet car.
