Default Need help deciding on an intercooler.

Mods, please don't lock this. I know it's a poll in a technical forum, but I feel that this is the best way to post the question.

Okay, here are the options:

1. Tyrus intercooler, $230 shipped brand new:

2. DRAG III intercooler, $300-350 shipped brand new:

3. Ebay intercooler, $335 shipped brand new:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...83646

Which one should I buy? Which one do you think is the best overall? Price, flow, size, etc. Are there other options I should consider? This is going on a 97 EX with a greddy turbo kit, boosting around 8-10 psi.

I have the tyrus and its great quality. If you want some thing that will function and you are on a budget pick one up.

the drag IC is too thin. you didnt even post dimensions, core cross pics, or IC type... how can you expect people to make any kind of educated answer

if you want a 2" core...just make your own.
All the tyrus deisgn is, is a powerstroke intercooler cut into thirds with tanks welded on. It's not hard to make.

YOu could make yours, and sell two...and come up with a profit.

out of those three, i'll go with the one I'm goign to use...the "e-bay" intecooler. 2.75" thick, werd.

just go to http://www.homemadeturbo.com and ask/search around....you'll find it cheaper.

Loving my tyrus... Some people pay the same price for modified Starion intercoolers.

i got the tyrus IC as well and i like it...only thing i dislike about it is that i had to hack the hell out of my bumper to get it to fit...hopefully i'll be able to find a welder than can reweld new endtanks to it so i can hide it behind my bumper...

I would say go for the 230$, seems like a good deal.

I got a spearco for a killer deal or I would have considered something like this also.
