Need help deciding between a Prelude and Civic Si to boost.
Hope I dont get flamed for this...
just sold my civic DX, and I want to build a 250whp civic or prelude.
I dont want to do an engine swap.
It's about $2000 more for a similar mileage prelude (1999+) than a late model Civic Si (99-02)
I can just add a $3k turbo kit to prelude and be pretty close to 250whp.
adding a $3k turbo to civic si puts me around 210whp.
Should I just spend an extra $2k on prelude and be done with it or is it worth it to spend the saved $2k on other mods for newer Si?

go civic man. I had a ls turbo ek coupe and raced a 99+ prelude who said he is "built" with 15lbs. On a roll i lost half a car. He said he couldnt go from the line cause to much spinning. I only ran 8 lbs wtih a t3/t4 50 trim . 60 ar...crappy fmu..safc. The weight made a big difference. He could of been a sorry driver though. When i went to san antonio I raced a eg coupe with a h23 turbo. Lost half a car to him also. I dont know if this helps, but get the civic si. 250 hp in a si is easy.
