well i recieved my ford intercooler today, that i need to cut in half and have endtanks welded onto each half... where should i cut, the blue arrow or the red arrow, and what should i do to the cut edge on each intercooler half...

 

 

i dont see anything. When i cut down intercoolers i cut with the rows and just rework the endtank.

 

there i fixed it, what do you mean by the rows?

 

cut it right along the blue line. You want to take the fins off and that it all. You can cut on either but that is the easiest way to do it.

 

ok, thanks.. for a second i wasnt quite sure but now i know depending on how these first two turn out i might start doing this more often and selling them

 

a tig welder can do this right, like a professional welder can easily weld the endtanks on right??

 

what do you use to cut it with?
