i was leaking oil to my distributor so i thought it was some kind of cam seal . i took off the valve cover and everything , when i got to where the seal should be i dont have anything there. should there be a seal ??i bought a cam seal at honda but it doesnt fit ... any ideas???

 

the distributor has a seal around the key that goes inside the camshaft..

the only seal i had was on the side with the timing gear..

 

if you look at the distributor, on the end near the key.. there is a black rubber ring, make sure that thing is not all tore up, thats probly what ur problem is.
