I have always been under the impression that there is a seal on the intake cam before the distributor? AND THEN a little O-ring on the distributor itself. But I went to the dealer to day and they said that O-ring is the only thing keeping that oil in there, is this true? NO other seal at all? Like the ones on the cam gear sides?

 

Yes that is true. Theres only a o-ring on the dizzy.
