Lately when im in boost and at idle the car would surge for like a sec as if it might stall. on the Air/fuel ratio gauge you can see a solid sweep in lean when it happens. the car has been getting worse when it first started happing. I thought it could be overheating but all the cooling components are brand new. Everything under the hood looks good so what could it be ? Im thinking of adding a relay to my inline fuel pump just make sure im getting all 12 volts since it might be a fuel issue. and i've been smelling something under the hood is it possible that my cat just crapped out on me ? its still stock

Also i've been getting a CEL like once a week it is
code 54
CKF Sensor (Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

can anyone help point me to the right direction ?
