Default Need FMU?

Hey everyone, well this weekend I have the chance to get my kit installed by someone experienced, the only thing is that I haven't received my Vortech FMU yet. I was just thinking maybe I could get it installed and just not hit boost at all till I get the FMU in. Is that possible? Would that be okay even for the .45 bar Tial Wastegate that I have. Please tell me your advice. Just know that if it's done, I will DEFINATELY not get on the boost at all, and shift around 3.5k. Well any advice would help. Thanks

as long as you dont boost it will be fine. shifting at 3.5k wont do anything, you need to not load down the engine, you might need to rev it out more to keep out of boost.

Yeah I did this for a couple days...just dont floor it and you'll be fine. Keep a light foot and its fine. Sucks for on ramps though takes forever to get up to speed.

Okay, I'll have it installed today. So I just have to remember to not hit the boost up and ease up on the gas, nothing to it then. DECENT. Well I'll tell you guys what's up. Latez
