Default need advice on this turbo

i just bought this percision gt35r turbo from a fellow honda tech member. but im having second thoughts about it because i think its too big for my gsr. the sizes are .58 ar and the .70 ar intake housing. i havnt opened it up yet but he said its a dual ball bearing.

DO NOT attempt to crack it open, or you'll be with nothing but a paperweight. That's a big turbo, GT35R or not, so it depends upon what you're trying to do for power.

how much did you pay? if you paid anything more than $200 you got ripped off pretty bad.. it's going to cost you more than $600 to repair correctly.

lol I wouldn't say it's too big...but it would be best to have a built motor for something that powerful.

You can't replace the bearing system in a True GT35R. Only the journal bearing version. That is why you should not "crack" it open.

Yeah if you try to crack it open you could be throwing the money you spent on it, right down the drain.

the rebuilds for the DBB cost 700+, 700+200 would get you a new or low mile GT35R
