Is it necessary to keep the MSD Boost timing Master with FMAX kit?
I was told that BTM is no use if you're only gonna boost 7lbs or less, is this true? does anyone have BTM? can I run the turbo kit w/o it?

You don't need it, but then again...you don't need your ring lands, either 
You can run it with 1psi or boost, it's just that it's not completely necessary at 7psi. Whatever "kit" you are running doesn't make a lick of difference as to whether you should run it, fyi.
