NB - ceramic coating at home

dont know if I missed the boat on this one but just bought a new product from DupliColor - it is spray on high heat paint 1200degrees F in high quality finish that has the same/similar advertised properties to ceramic coating. comes in wicked colors, engine silver, red etc..gonna redo my manifold cast log style and let you know how it works out. if you have seen this product and tried it out let post your obsevations

That would be pointless... You would never win.
The temps on those cans are in *F which means you need something that can handle up to 1800*F. Ceramic coatings are usually casted, and have no polymers, or bonding agents to melt.

Careful with that ****. some ricer around here painted his manifold (not turbo manifold) with that temp paint and is actually caught fire on him. Also the ones I have seen that didn't just burn off did turn ugly shades of brown and crap.

your kidding right - dont tell me the motor was still hot! hehe, I still smoke when I work on gas tanks, I'll learn my lesson the hard way some day. Ill get a pic of this paint up soon, duplicolor is the best in paints, I tried it out already and then used the propane torch on it for like 10 minutes, mint, went back to shiny after it cooled for a few minutes! Im going back to the store for more.
your kidding right - dont tell me the motor was still hot! hehe, I still smoke when I work on gas tanks, I'll learn my lesson the hard way some day.
