name the turbo ?????

Icon2 name the turbo ?????

so im buying this turbo out of state, i have a friend picking up the turbo so he can check for all the usual stuff, nit sure is it a ebay turbo???? he said its comming off a ford? but this is the only info the guy has , any idea on how much power it can push? on exhaust part number 430683-11

It's a Garrett Turbo so at least its name brand, that way you know its not an ebay turbo..Do you know what size it is? Probably off of a Ford Turbo Diesel truck.

looks like a 50trim with a .63 a/r good maybe for 400hp

really?? How can you be so certain? Just because the housing says Garrett that means its a Garrett?

it says Garrett on the exhaust housing as well. There might be a plate on the CHRA to.

Maybe the CHRA is different, but there really is no way to tell other then measuring the wheels.

Oh not to mention the white mark on the impeller blade, which I think is something unique to garrett turbos...

Ford diesels never used a five bolt flange that Im aware of. Most used a split round flange or v band on the newer ones. Plus they were a t6 frame turbo if im not mistaking.

I been looking but no real information I need, maybe how much vfm push out, need like 350hp or so...
