just a thought-you said pistons 3 and 4 weren't bad but the sleeves were cracked. i might b mistaken but aren't the cylinders surrounded by coolant? maybe there was coolant leaking into cylinders 3 and 4 there-by reducing detonation. does that theory seem to hold water??
