my turbo build up
i blew up my engine with nitrous, so i ordered a rs machine darton mid sleeved block, cp 9:1 pistons. i also orded a set of acl race bearings, f1 racing stage 4 unsprung 6 puck. I am gonna buy a ct-26 turbo(no shaft play) with 4 440cc supra injectors for $135. i have a stock wrx intercooler that im gonna see i can get to fit. my buddy is giving me a stock 1st gen eclipse bov. using crome to tune. i know that the block is overkill for my application but i plan to upgrade to a better turbo kit and eventually make like 450whp. right now im shooting for 250+whp since i spent all of my money on the block. let me know what you think.
also i have a set of blox HSL cams that i used for all motor, will these work for a turbo application since there high lift and short duration?

Sleeved block is way over kill, but for the future will be nice knowing that the motor is pretty much bullet-proof.
As for cams i would go with a set of ITR/CTR or GSR cams, all motor cams dont work well with boosted setups from what i am seen...

You might wanna do a bit of research before making a generalization like that. Many people use moderately (and depending on their setup pretty radical cams) sized all motor cams in thier turbo hondas with great sucess. Last I checked ctr/itr, gsr and b16 cams are all motor cams. The higher lift seems to do very well with a turbo and as for the overlap there are these nifty little things called adjustable cam gears.
