Re: My new JGS Precision 44mm wastegate (ludesleep)
that gate looks huge ? how tall is it from base to top ?
does this fit standard tial 44mm or is a "specific" 44mm flange for the JGS gate?
what other products does JGS produce?

5.83 top to bottom its not that bad. The vband didnt match the flange on my lovefab but they do supply you with two vbands and clamps for both sides. They also have just introduced a new 56mm blow off valve onto the market. Its says on their site coming soon but if you call them they are already selling them. Here is their site... http://www.jgstools.com or http://www.jgsturbo.com

why would they do it with a proprietary vband flange? thats a real good way to steer customers away from your product.
edit: just checked their site and its not neccessarily proprietary, its just that the wastegate you have is either 40mm or 50mm v-band flanged. looks like they have a 60mm on their as well which is nice, but i think they shouldve just done 44mm so it would bolt up to the majority of manifolds. decent pricing on there as well

I only have 900mi on mine so far but no issues. Boost held rock solid in combination with a hallman ceramic ball mbc. I mistakenly got it with the med. and heavy springs instead of light/med. The medium turned out to be ~12psi and the heavy had to be cut nearly in half(according to engine builder) to get 7. And yes, these are the best looking wg's out there imo.

FWIW- the Tial 44 and the Turbosmart 45/48 do NOT share the same v bandflange either.
imo, the flange used on the JGS gate looks to be more like the Turbosmart v band flange.
ludesleep, can you measure across the o.d. of the flange, i can measure my turbosmart, then we can compare

Re: My new JGS Precision 44mm wastegate (zeimbo)
I have the 44mm not the 50mm. If anyone is thinking about getting one I would do it soon....I talked to Lance the owner and talked about how nice it was having a billet ss housing on these things. He said that they are in the process of changing over to cast like tial cause its a cheaper process. So if you wanna take advantage I would do it quick.
