Default My "How much power will he make" thread

Alright guys, if all goes well, I am heading to the tuner Saturday morning with hopes of FINALLY getting my DB project on the road. I figure its about time being it been 3yrs since I have driven it last.

Since I am going for a tune, I wanted to see how much power you guys think I will put down. There are plenty of these types of threads around but I hope to be able to present you guys with some dyno charts after my session on Saturday.

Set up is as follows:

81.5mm b18b1 block
Eagle rods
Weisco 9.1:1 pistons
block gard
b16 head stock port/polish
Old style S2 manifold
Crower valvetrain
GSR cams
PeakBoost ram horn manifold package
Garrett 60/61 snail
Tial 38mm gate
Precision 600hp intercooler
Treadstone 2.25->2.5 intercooler piping
RC 750s
Walboro 255
Stillen FPR
KTeller 3" piping w/ Vibrant 3" muffler
s300 w/ Hondata boost controller
GM 3bar MAP

If you guys need more info, let me know. Feel that should be sufficient though. I have power "hopes" in mind but interested to see what you guys feel I will see.

TIA guys

Due to the deck height of the 1.6, 81.5 bore, and the stock sleeves with pump gas. I would guestimate in the 340-360 hp - Let me know if I am close.

I have a a similar set up but at a 84mm on E85 tune pushing 406hp @ 308 torque

Yea 350ish sounds reasonable on pump gas. Depends how boost crazy you get but anymore then 375-400 and i would start worrying about the sleeves.

What is the point of this thread? You can deduce a number on your own, which is meaningless anyway because all dynos read differently.

I'm guessing the point is, that he wants to know others opinions
So when every it's tuned he has a around about guess how much power it "should" make. But thats just my view on it.

I was just playing along with the "usual" threads in this section. Calm down now. I was eager at the as I had power "dreams" of 350-400 and just felt I would never see it therefore I was looking for some input and what people thought I would see after the tune. At the end of the day Saturday, I was driving home with a 450hp grocery getter

Thats what I had up a couple of posts up but the tuner removed the file. Let me track down the new link to it...

Instead of graphs, I will post the link to the thread created by the tuner. There is also a video of the 450hp final pull. Note: instead of GSR head, its a b16 head w/ Crower valvetrain and GSR cams. LS/VTEC - Peakboost Turbo Kit - Pump Gas Dyno Tune
